Boréal Auto
This page applies only to the Boréal Auto application (package ca.productivia.boreal.auto) on Android Auto. It does not cover the productivia.ca website or other Boréal products.

Boréal Auto is a gateway: it displays compatible Boréal applications on the vehicle screen through Android Auto. It is not a standalone workspace. Content comes from the Boréal hub (https://app.mio.land) or from the local Boréal server on the same phone (http://127.0.0.1:4032), according to the mode already set in Boréal Android.
Fine and coarse location permission is requested so that navigation templates can show the vehicle position on the car display. Location is used only for that in-car display and for routing inside Boréal map applications. Location is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to build a marketing profile.
The application uses the Internet to load the Boréal hub, or the local loopback interface when Local mode is active. It may read the Boréal Android session already present on the phone (installed applications, Local / Online mode) so the car screen matches the phone. No separate Boréal account is created by Boréal Auto.
Boréal Auto does not display ads, does not include an advertising identifier for resale, does not sell personal data, and does not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing. No payment data is processed in this application.
Location and session data used for display are kept only for the duration of the Android Auto session on the device. No separate long-term archive is maintained by this gateway beyond what Boréal Android or the hub already store under their own policies.
Boréal Auto is intended for licensed driving. It is not directed at children.
