The files are available, but using the ProductivIA platform requires an active account.

The ProductivIA platform is currently available by invitation only. An active ProductivIA account should be in place before downloading and installing Boréal OS. Without an account, the OS can start, but the agentic ecosystem it is designed to carry will not be reachable. To request access, use the forms at the bottom of the page or on the About page.

Boréal OS — USB stick preparation utility

Installing Boréal OS requires downloading a single file: Boréal OS USB Maker, a signed Windows utility that automatically fetches the latest official image, verifies its integrity, formats a USB stick, and writes the image onto it. Run this installation only with an active ProductivIA account or a confirmed invitation already in hand. After installation, server mode can be activated from the interface if the machine is meant to serve ProductivIA. The complete procedure is described on the Setup page.

Boréal OS USB Maker for Windows

Native Windows application. No configuration: launch it, pick a USB stick of at least 32 GB, and get a bootable install medium ready in under ten minutes. The Boréal OS image is downloaded and verified by the utility itself — nothing else needs to be handled.

Boréal for Windows — native agent

Full agentic capability without changing environment? Boréal for Windows adds the same functional layer Boréal OS brings — screen capture, files, devices, automations — directly to an existing Windows machine. No reformatting, no USB stick, installed in a few minutes.

securityTechnical detailsBeta phase — if the executable does not start

During the beta phase, Windows may block a file downloaded from the Internet. If the installer or the portable version does not start: right-click the file → Properties → check Unblock at the bottom of the General tab → Apply, then run it again. This step will no longer be necessary once Windows code signing is in place.

Compatible with Windows 10 (build 19045 and later) and Windows 11. Places the application in the user profile with Start Menu shortcuts; subsequent updates happen automatically.

Boréal for Android — mobile application

Bring a ProductivIA workspace to mobile. The Boréal for Android application wraps the platform in a native app: notifications, biometrics, sharing, and deep links. An active ProductivIA account remains required to access the agentic ecosystem.

Native application for Android 8.0 and later. Installed by direct download of the .apk file (the phone may ask for permission to install from unknown sources). By default the app connects to app.mio.land; a different address — a business silo or a local Boréal server — can be set in the app's settings.
